Generally, monsoons occur at the same time across the country, although that time may vary significantly from one year to the next. Laos has a tropical monsoon climate, with a pronounced rainy season from May through October, a cool dry season from November through February, and a hot dry season in March and April. Agriculture has been one of the primary occupations of man since early civilizations and even today manual interventions in farming are inevitable. In Laos, agriculture is among those sectors. We live in a world where everything can be controlled and operated automatically, but there are still a few important sectors in Laos where automation has not been adopted or not been put to a full-fledged use, perhaps because of several reasons such as cost.
